From the 1st Of April 2019 Making Tax Digital for VAT (MTD VAT) will be implemented by HMRC. From that date VAT-registered businesses above the threshold of £85k will have to keep digital records and submit VAT returns using compatible software.
|Period Start||Period End||Submission Deadline|
VAT periods that begin before the 1st of April 2019 can be submitted using the HMRC website. The table details the dates where a VAT return has to be submitted using the new method.
Our MTD VAT bridging software allows you to submit your VAT return using a spreadsheet saved in Microsoft Excel file format (Office XP or later) containing the box 1 to 9 figures. Microsoft Excel does not have to be installed on the PC so you can use any spreadsheet that can save to MS Exel format such as Open Office, Google Sheets or Apple Numbers.
Our MTD VAT software is not cloud based and is priced as a one off cost. There are no monthly or annual subscriptions. We guarantee to keep our software HMRC compliant for a minimum of 2 years from the 01/04/2019.
